Portfolio Update

As of market closing on May 23, 2025 markets have risen fairly bringing most of the indices above their 100 and 200 day moving averages.

Here’s a list of some major indices I look at before investing,

From above analysis it seems Nifty Jr and Smallcap 250 are still lagging compared to the broader markets and which is why it seems best to avoid choosing stocks for our portfolio using momentum principles from these weak indices. Following week I’ll re-evaluate entries and act accordingly.

Below we move onto the stock specific portfolios here’s an overview of market in numbers

I’ve added new stocks to my portfolio all largecaps.

I’ve focused on Nifty50 and Nifty Next 50 indices and added 10 stocks from each of these indices as per their momentum scores.

For now I’ve stayed away from Smallcaps and Midcaps. More action in coming days!
